Move day runs best when the prep is done the night before. Here’s the short list our crew leads swear by.

The night before

Pack an essentials bag (medications, chargers, a change of clothes, toiletries). Defrost the fridge, fully charge your phone, and confirm the arrival window with your crew.

The morning of

Clear a path from the door to the truck, reserve parking out front if you can, and keep pets and small kids in one closed-off room. Label the boxes you’ll want first at the new place so they ride up front.

When the crew arrives

Do a quick walkthrough, point out anything fragile or “do-not-move,” and let the team work. A good crew moves faster when they have a clear plan — and you get to spend the day excited instead of frazzled.
