Co-Branded Booking Pages for Moving Companies: From Introduction to Inquiry
A co-branded booking page gives a moving company and its referral partner one place to introduce their relationship and collect a moving inquiry. The customer recognizes the person who recommended the mover, then sends their details directly to the moving team. In Semres, submitting this form is an inquiry, not a confirmed booking, price, or reserved move date.
Give the introduction a useful destination
A realtor can recommend a mover in a text, a closing email, or a printed welcome packet. The weak point is often what happens next: the customer has to find the right website, explain who referred them, and work out how to request help. A page built around that introduction keeps the partner and moving company together at the point of inquiry.
Before sharing it, decide the one action the customer should take. Requesting a quote is a clear first step. Asking them to schedule a move before inventory, access, availability, and pricing have been reviewed creates an expectation the office may not be able to meet. Match the words in the introduction to what the form actually does.
Distinguish the two Semres page workflows
The token-based booking page collects a customer inquiry and associates it with the partner. This workflow is capture-only: it does not automatically create a lead in SmartMoving or Chariot. The moving company needs an agreed process for reviewing that inquiry and continuing the estimate conversation.
The newer public realtor page has its own lead workflow. It can send captured leads to SmartMoving when the connection, credentials, and production settings permit it. For Chariot, the inquiry is captured for follow-up without an automatic CRM lead-create promise. These are different handoffs even though both pages help a partner introduce a mover.
Ask which page your team is distributing. A successful form submission confirms capture, not successful CRM delivery. The office should know where to find the submission and who owns it before an agent starts sharing the link.
Make the first follow-up specific
Assign a person or role to check incoming inquiries during your working hours. Their first conversation should confirm the route, preferred timing, inventory, access constraints, and the best way to continue. Do not promise a response time on the page unless the team can consistently support it.
For example, an agent can write: “Here is the moving team I mentioned. Send your details through this page and they can discuss your move with you.” The estimator then has a natural opening: “Your agent shared our page. Let us confirm what you need before we prepare an estimate.” Neither message suggests that the customer already bought a service.
Test the whole path before printing a QR code
Open the actual public link on a phone, check the mover and partner identities, and make one clearly labeled test inquiry in an approved test setup. Confirm that staff can locate it and understand its source. If you are using a configured SmartMoving handoff, check the destination record separately from the form confirmation.
Scan a sample QR code at its intended printed size. Keep a readable web address or contact alternative beside it. A code on a closing folder is useful only if it takes the customer to the expected page and the office can respond to the resulting request. Recheck printed material when a page address changes.
Include the person covering the inbox on busy move days in this test. Have them find the request without help from the person who built the page, identify the referring partner, and describe the next customer contact. That checks the working handoff as well as the form.
Measure inquiries and booked work separately
Track submitted inquiries, qualified conversations, estimates, and confirmed moves as separate stages. A partner who sends several inquiries has generated interest; booked revenue requires later evidence. Keep the original partner association when staff create or update the CRM record so the introduction does not disappear during the handoff.
Start with a small partner group and review the first submissions together. Use those conversations to improve the explanation, identify missing information, and fix ownership gaps. Ask Semres to demonstrate the exact page and CRM path for your company before you expand distribution.
Frequently asked questions
Does a co-branded booking page reserve a move date?
No. It captures an inquiry. The mover still confirms scope, availability, pricing, and its booking requirements.
Will every inquiry automatically appear in my CRM?
No. Token-based booking pages are capture-only. Public realtor pages have a separate SmartMoving handoff when configured and authorized; Chariot inquiries require follow-up without automatic lead creation.
Can the customer request a photo survey afterward?
An optional QubeSheets photo-survey offer can appear when the integration is configured and the customer provided a usable phone number. Sending still depends on the applicable delivery settings.
