A Realtor’s Guide to Setting Up and Sharing a Moving Partner Page

Semres TeamSeptember 16, 2026 4 min read

Share your public realtor partner page with clients; keep your private dashboard and edit-access links for your own use. The public page introduces you and your moving partner and collects moving inquiries. Your dashboard helps you review referral progress and find the page to share. Neither a form submission nor a QR scan confirms a booked move.

Agree on the introduction with your mover

Start with the moving company that is setting up your partner profile. Confirm your professional name, brokerage details, contact information, and the page address they intend to publish. Review the headshot and descriptive copy together so clients see the same identity they know from working with you.

Also agree on the operational handoff. The mover should explain who receives inquiries and how clients are contacted. You should know whom to reach if a client needs urgent help or if a submission appears to be missing. Avoid adding promises about availability, pricing, or response time unless the moving company explicitly supports them.

Use public, dashboard, and edit links for different jobs

The public page is the client destination. This is the address to put in an email signature, closing checklist, social profile, or printed QR code. Open it in a signed-out browser before sharing so you can see what a client sees, rather than an editor or preview.

The private dashboard link provides access to your partner information and referral view. Keep it in your own bookmarks and do not put it into marketing material. Having a familiar-looking page address does not make every link public: access tokens can grant private access and should be handled like a sign-in link.

Editing is a third task. When using the self-service edit flow, request access through the supported process and use the link delivered to your recorded email address. If the email is wrong or the link has expired, ask the moving company to help you restore access. Do not forward edit links to clients as a way of showing them the page.

Check the published page on a phone

Read the page from top to bottom after publication. Confirm your photo, name, the moving company identity, and the next action. Check that the introduction accurately describes the relationship; a co-branded page should not leave a client unsure which company will perform the move.

Then check the contact form with the mover in an agreed test setup. The client experience should make clear that the team will discuss the move and prepare the next step. A preferred date in a request is not a reserved truck, crew, or arrival window. Correct that misunderstanding in the message you use to introduce the link.

Share the public link and test the QR code

A short introduction is enough: “Here is my moving partner’s page. You can send your details to their team and discuss what your move needs.” Put the link where a client is already planning the transition, such as your closing preparation email or move checklist, rather than repeatedly sending it without context.

Generate or download the QR code for the public page through your available partner tools, then scan it yourself. Test the final printed size and check that the destination is the public page. Add a short label explaining the action, such as “Request moving information,” plus a readable alternative for clients who cannot scan it.

After any page-address change, revisit the material you control. Old email templates, brochures, and saved phone notes can continue circulating an earlier link. The dashboard share area is a useful place to retrieve the current public address before a new print run.

Follow progress without promising an outcome

Use the dashboard to review the referral information available for your relationship. An inquiry, an estimate, a booked move, and a completed job describe different events. If the status is unclear, ask the moving office for confirmation instead of telling a client that a move has been booked.

Keep private client details out of public testimonials or social updates unless you have appropriate permission. The value of the page is a clear introduction and a manageable handoff. Moving companies can ask Semres to demonstrate page publishing, private access, and referral tracking together before inviting their first agents.

Frequently asked questions

Which link should I put in my QR code?

Use the published public partner page. Do not encode your private dashboard link, edit-access link, or preview address.

Can I edit my own partner page?

The supported self-service flow uses email-based access for permitted profile fields. Ask your moving partner to confirm the correct email and help if access fails.

Does a referral appearing in the dashboard mean it booked?

No. Check its recorded stage and confirm unclear cases with the moving team.
